"The sun has been up for 15 minutes and the feeders are still empty!!?? What in the heck are you doing in there?"
"I am still waiting! Get off the couch you slug. It is NOT that cold out here, and I am not moving."
"What is this stuff? You expect me to eat cheap cracked corn? Do I look like a crow?"
"You do realize these are stale, right?"
Wonderful. Glorious. Fabulous!

do i look like a crow...hahaha....cute...
ReplyDeleteAs a bird book this would be a best seller. Oh how funny and you are probably exactly right.
ReplyDeleteThe feeder birds can be demanding. You caught their expressions. Don't leave your window open or they'll come right in.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks for the laugh this morning. Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous makes a good point!
ReplyDeleteSo you are feeding the original angry birds? Love it!
birds are such characters. since still the only bird to discover the little teacup feeder is the male cardinal, I have removed the seed mix and replaced it with just sunflower seeds. and here he is back again.
ReplyDeleteTough audience those birds, persnickity little dears.
ReplyDeleteNice images with very opinionated birds! babara
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!
ReplyDeleteLaughing....smiling...shecheering on that top bire.
ReplyDeleteBeauties, one and all.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is good! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThey are probably also saying, "Okay. Hurry up and get your picture, and then get my food!"
ReplyDeleteGreat photos that show such life in the little creatures.
Hahaha!!! This really cracks me up because I swear this is what the birds at my house are thinking. Once the feeders are empty I wait for the birds to clean up all the seeds on the ground before I refill the feeders. I'm mean like that. But it works. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe feed our love birds fresh food every day, too. They are picky. (The ducks outback get the leftovers).
ReplyDeleteFunny, beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteNot only are the photos outstanding, the talking birds cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots. Perfect dialogue to go with them!
ReplyDeleteA great chuckle for a gray morning! They seem to be saying exactly what you wrote!
ReplyDeleteI loved your bird photos and captions. It was a fun blog to read - Dave
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures of your birds.... I love that last one.. What a crazy expression on his face!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've spent a fortune on bird seed also.... They just eat and eat and eat---all day long, especially when the weather is bad.
