Sunflowing and Sunsetting

The world moves on. My sunflowers had to be staked after the Hurricane Isaias came over. The eye was overhead, but the storm had been reduced to a tropical storm and we got very little in the way of damage. The last is the greeting the night before the storm hit as the sun was setting.

  7. Whatever sunflower fields we have here are not as accessible as last year. What I mean is that they have moved due to crop rotation and the new fields are not as handy.

  8. lovely sunflower pics. I did a glass piece of the underside of a sunflower very much like your picture.

  9. Wonderful pictures. I'm glad you escaped damage. We had damage second only to Sandy. Still thousands of people without power or therefore refrigeration. I got lucky, power losses only brief.

  10. How beautiful, and how blessed you were. As we both know, to have a tropical system come through brings relief and sorrow, relief for those who did not get damage, and sorrow for those who did.
