Mellow Yellow

The sun is shining today.  It is shiny and yellow and golden and lemon and all of those warm sunny colors.  The morning is cool but warming into that zeal of an afternoon perfect for gardeners.  I am in a glowing mood and decided to share some yellowness (blurry and sharp) with you.

This photo was actually taken in Florida a few months ago, but I had to show him off.
Go ahead and sing it out Mr. Yellow Rump!

Yellow - never one of my favorite colors. Or so I thought. As with many things in my more mature days now, I'm seeing new beauty. Guess it just took this long to appreciate it.

Daffodils - love them.

I like the beautiful yellow background too. Yellow says "Spring" to me.

Yes we do both have yellow on our minds. I have waited so long for color to sprout around me and finally, yellow is popping out. It is a welcome color.

That second daffodil actually made me gasp. I LOVE IT. That peach is my very favorite color ever. What a gorgeous flower.
Thank you for posting such happy, beautiful pics!
