It also has a trail above very close to the edge of that cliff that overhangs in the left side of the photo above. I am hoping the Scout leaders have common sense as there is no fence or block to keep 10-year-olds from looking over the edge. Hubby is going to join them, but only in the evening as we have a full day of volunteer work on that day.
It was a day of repetitive patterns that caught my eye as the afternoon sun disappeared behind the trees.
Very interesting textures and lines in those photos. As to those scouts, if they are anything like the boys in my sons troops through the years, they'll be scaling the cliff moments after arriving.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the boys, somehow mine survived.Great art, yours and nature's.
ReplyDeleteThe textured patterns are lovely. As for the boys, pray for common sense and keep an eagle eye out!
ReplyDeleteTexture and pattern. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI like your repetitive patterns and the light that showed them off.
ReplyDeleteLike your eye for repetitive patterns. Nature sure has plenty of them for you to find on your hikes. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteI like those patterns - especially the cone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty place. Scout camping is very structured activity, so Hopefully the kids will have alot to do to set-up n learn all about safety, the buddy system , ect and the scout leader will give a speech as they arrive what not to do. I was a scout for 10 years, That's where I learned the best stuff about camping.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos too! :)
