Those flowers bring the sun right down to us. Love it when I see the grandkids sniffing them and sometimes you can see the color reflected in their faces.
yellow is the color of summer to me. the clasping coneflowers are about done but the black eyed susans and the mexican hats are starting up and soon the field sunflowers will be blooming.
