Skipping Along

This is the season of rushing and eating and rushing some more.  The days are getting shorter and this skipper hits every garlic chive flower for sustenance.   He is so focused that even my shadow crossing his eye no longer makes him "skip" away.  Click on the photo for a closer look.

Excellent photography. I saw that little bugger's eye. Guess I need to watch for the little guys more these days. The birds and the fish are catching my eye.

It's close to the end for this skipper and if you look at his wings you see that they are worn and tattered.

Wow! Another fascinating creature i've never taken the time to really look at up close, although i've seen a few of his cousins.

My eye is fading. Love your critters and flowers and growing things. Even tho my world blurrs, boy I sure can see your colors.
