When Winter Comes

My car did not have shelter the other night and I was able to document the artistic painting done by winter's daughter as she flew over.

I remember as a small child before there were double and triple glazed windows watching this art show in the early mornings of our farm house before the heat of the house and glow of the sun made the crystals melt away.

  4. Mother Nature's fine artistic hand at work. We lived for a time in a house that had just an oil heater in the living room. Sometimes in the winter the bathroom and bedroom windows had ice on the inside of them. My little sister and I would scratch pictures and messages in it. No one lingered in the bathroom then. :-)

  6. Yes, we had the same patterns on the windows and little fingers traced the patterns and melted them. Today when we're "bigger" we stop and appreciate the beauty.

  7. Oh, yes, I remember those frost patterns on old windows too.
Nature close up is so lovely.

  8. Once again your cleverness astounds. Who else would think to photograph it?
