Before the Storm

Do the butterflies know that the storm is coming?? Are they stocking up? Where do they hide when the big winds and pelting rains fall? How many will die?

The fellow above has already seen better days.

Not everything is soft and romantic before the storm, though.

This spider was just outside my front door...wondering if he could take shelter inside.  He was about the size of my hand from tip to tip!

  5. I don't really mind large spiders so long as I am SURE they are not poisonous and can't give painful bites......

  9. They know, they sense the change in barometric pressure in ways we don’t. And i think they instinctively know how to hide to survive, although not all of them will.

Praying everyone comes through this okay.

  10. WOW, and all the very small insects are taking cover too. That spider is a bit much for me. Does he have a name. I'm following your hurricane's path.
