Do the butterflies know that the storm is coming?? Are they stocking up? Where do they hide when the big winds and pelting rains fall? How many will die?
The fellow above has already seen better days.
Not everything is soft and romantic before the storm, though.
This spider was just outside my front door...wondering if he could take shelter inside. He was about the size of my hand from tip to tip!
stay safe, and hope all the critters to do too.
ReplyDeletePraying for the safety of all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Butterflies and the Spider, fabulous Tabor.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and dry!
ReplyDeleteI hope butterflies find a wind safe place to hide.
I don't really mind large spiders so long as I am SURE they are not poisonous and can't give painful bites......
ReplyDeleteStay safe, Tabor!
ReplyDeleteHow do any animals manage in that weather?
I've never seen anything on the survival of insects during a storm.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they know to evacuate!
ReplyDeleteThey know, they sense the change in barometric pressure in ways we don’t. And i think they instinctively know how to hide to survive, although not all of them will.
ReplyDeletePraying everyone comes through this okay.
WOW, and all the very small insects are taking cover too. That spider is a bit much for me. Does he have a name. I'm following your hurricane's path.
ReplyDeletenice spider. they must all know how to survive or else we wouldn't still have them around. stay safe.
