Aha!

Spring is here. Oh, there could be the errant snow that only falls by the window and never covers the lawn for more than a second or two. The weather here is sometimes sporadic. But I took a walk around the yard with my camera and this is definitely evidence that spring is here.  Yesterday was in the 70sF!

Male House Finch in mating colors.

Bumble bee checking out the dead nettle flowers.  Notice his orange pollen?

You can wipe that  pollen off your nose and go back to drinking your nice warm beverage now.

  3. Lovely picturesque. The dead nettle is just blooming today here, first day I've seen it.

  4. Pictures. I don't like it when I type the word I want, then it changes after I enter it.

  10. Our weather is bouncing back and forth. One day the AC is on and the next I have to turn on the heat. Hopefully I can get a walk outside today before it turns to winter again.

  12. There are many signs of spring here now too - snowdrops in the backyard, daffodils starting to push up through the soil, Northern Cardinals singing their heads off. Red-winged Blackbirds filling the marshes. What a glorious time of the year.
