Flyover

I was flying over the river...via the bridge...hubby was driving.  These are called drive-by shots and would not hold up to the scrutiny of a magnifying glass for sharpness since we were moving about 30 MPH.  But they were the last of the fall a few weeks ago that I could capture, and I thought I would share one of the neighborhoods I pass fairly regularly.

Can something be exotic and quaint at the same time. What a picturesque place!

Oh, that last one. The line of pine trees down the road backed by the line of masts in the harbor.

Simply lovely...the colors all work so well together, and such is nature.

Some of my favourite photos are drive-by shootings. What a beautiful spot. Picturesque, indeed.

Beautiful! I don't think landscapes need to be that sharp. In fact, I often tone it down if it looks too sharp. I think you did an amazing job with these.

Great photos, what a great place this must be for artists.

Pretty sharp for 30 mph! I think you get your fall pictures at the peak of the season. Very colorful.

Whether they hold up or not, depends on whose judging them and for why. They are magnificent. Extraordinary. Sharpness is not everything!

Wow, wow, wow! I love the row of burning bushes in the first one and as Joanne says - the line of pine tress on the second one.

Wouldn't these make great jigsaw puzzles?
