So much energy expended in treading water this green summer. Soon I will cease this useless task and swim toward the shore and begin once again to Zen just a little....soon...because fall is fast approaching.
And summer's brilliant hues...
will be exchanged overnight to fall's amber colors.
i love the brilliant colors of fall...the last splash before the dying and dormant....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've been in upper state NY the past week and on a mountainside there was one brilliant orange torch of a tree amongst a sea of green.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish fall were a more zen time for me. It is usually craziness.
And even though I love fall, I will miss summer.
Beautiful photos!!!
This fall is promising to be more active than ever, but maybe after football season.... Oh, yes, then the holidays. Then who knows.
ReplyDeleteWell, when i need some tranquility, i'll look at pictures like yours for a few minutes. It helps, thank you.
We're all going to have to change gears. Fortunately the change can be slow. I wouldn't want it to turn cold all at once I like to get used to the cold.
ReplyDeleteWe are looking for things to slow down after labor day. It has been a busy August. I'm hoping for more sunny, warm lazy days, after this rainy period were are in right now.
ReplyDeletePart of me is looking forward to Fall but I will need to store up lots of indoor projects. It will be difficult to give up my mowing therapy and I can't shovel snow, so it's store up groceries and candles and see about getting a generator this year. Ron and I talked about one every year but kept putting it off. Still I look forward to the "exchanged overnight to fall's amber colors".
ReplyDeleteThank you
ReplyDeletefor sharing
such beauty...
I love Autumn's colors and cooler temperatures. The little bridge in your photo is lovely and I can imagine it in all seasons.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You are such an excellent photographer. I love these peaceful photos!
ReplyDeleteThis is just so beautiful, Tabor. I love that bridge. It reminds me of something from a Monet painting.
ReplyDeleteFrom your comment on my blog: "Oh, also wanted to add that you need to give your son a big hug from me, because I know how absolutely, deliriously, happy you are having him close right now! "
How right you are. I gave my boy lots of those.. and yes, one of them was from you. Thank you for that. He's on his way back early in the morning.. sigh!
