May All Your Birdies Feast Safely

Apologies for the blurred shots, taken through the double-paned glass window as I sat on my bedroom floor.  Have a good and safe Thanksgiving if you are celebrating such.

Getting tired of waiting here!
Be patient, Red, I am almost done.
Hey, did someone poop in the bath?
It wasn't me...really.
Oh...what was that?
Hawk!  HAWK!
Did he say 'Hawk'?
Hey, could you put down that camera and open the door and scare him away?
Thanks, you can go now.

  1. Ha! Those are fabulous! They don't look blurry to me. Pretty good for shots from inside. Well done!

Hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

  2. Those are fine photos for double glass focus. The cardinals are gorgeous but I adore mockingbirds and you've captured a beauty here.

I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  3. Love the pictures, love the comments, love the cardinal, those red birds are a little appreciated in this area as they are so common. They might be the most beautiful of all the song birds.

  5. Great shots even so. I love my birdbath. Where I sit to work, when I have the back door open I can see thru it to the birdbath. so entertaining.

  12. What, no body was complaining about being able to ice skate on the bird bath? The hawks have been busy around here or something has because I have lost three young chickens.
