The Price We Pay

While the hot days of summer seem to be making an exit and we can now look forward to some rain in the coming days, it does not arrive without a price.

  3. The crepe myrtles here are about done, too. It means cooler weather. Not cool, but less hot, will come soon.

  4. when we lived in the city the crepe myrtle in the front would always bloom in June and June was always a rainy month. we would have pink slime on the walk and the bottom step.
