Ha! Beautiful photos! I need to head out to the beach now that it's warmer...although most of the time I'm wearing a warm jacket and drinking hot chocolate inside a cold ice rink. (My son has hockey practice 4-5 times a week and games on Saturdays and Sundays!)
Oh that's too funny...my husband came home the other day saying he saw a single goose flaked out on the surface of the lake, just like this...neck stretched forward, just resting, floating.
What an amazing and funny sight! Are they terns? Your caption is perfect :) Great pics of the stork too. I don't remember ever seeing this bird before. Did you get your daylilies planted? Mine are up about 2 inches now.
Kerri, daylilies are up and about 6 inches high. I am so excited. I also have some tiger lilies peaking up and absolutely taking over on of my beds! I only planted three bulbs and now I have dozens of plants. These are called black skimmer terns and Royal terns.
lol. hope you have a wonderful weekend!
