What a wealth awaited us from our garden upon our return. We have been eating huge bowls of leaf lettuce for lunch each day, sometimes with cheese, or fruit slices, or nuts or meats. We also harvest this lovely bunch of radishes. Who needs French Impressionist art?
Beautiful! Radishes are so nice in a salad, both from the taste and visual points of view.
ReplyDeleteThe first fresh veggies are just great. What a taste! We don't realize how awful the stuff from the store can be.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gift from your garden upon your return!
ReplyDeleteLucky you- I haven't planted veggies because can only bring a few. The one tomato n Thyme win.
ReplyDeleteArt you can eat!
ReplyDeleteradishes are cool and easy to grow. too bad I don't care for them. I usually plant lettuce in the fall. gets too hot in the summer here.
ReplyDeleteAw, beautiful. I'm jealous. My radishes never formed. Need to pull out my gardening books and learn how to do it all over again. I guess.
ReplyDeleteGlad yours are so perfect. Hope they tasted like heaven.
Wow, I love the radishes but not the copperhead. I feel I have been away too long.
