Summer visitors are late this year. Those that come are fewer than normal. The air is stifling and the nectar is so necessary. I am careful to water the nectar-producing factories as often as possible. Will my great-grandchildren even see a winged insect?
Do you know the name of the hummingbird moth? Tip of my brain for the name.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos
Yes, grandchildren will see gorgeous insects of all kinds. I'm not sure they will like some of them though.
Beautiful photos. I think insects will survive but I want to see a same range as now surviving.
ReplyDeleteJust posted on Facebook about the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds enjoying our garden in our mild sunshine. So happy to have these visitors.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful!
Good question, i wish i had an answer.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I wonder will my great grandchildren be able to visit the place where their parent was born or will the island be submerged?

some years we see more than others. this year not too many.
ReplyDeleteI've got potted plants for bees and butterflys on my patio but this year all I've seen is a lone yellow butterfly and a handful of bees. Maybe this is an off year.
