I don't know why, but they are not a favorite of mine...maybe they remind me of pigeons. I should probably reevaluate, they do have a certain majestic and peaceful quality.
Doves are beautiful, and very nice birds. The only problem i have with them is that they do not build good nests, and the babies end up on the ground and needing to be taken to the wildlife hospital.
They are such beautiful creatures. I enjoy seeing them puffed up in the cold weather.
