I am so Glad

These lovely white fairies are now blooming in one of my flower beds. Their fragrance is the breath of a tropical night on a distant island, quite exotic for mid-October!

  1. They are a type of gladiolus--perhaps
Gladiolus callianthus murieliae?...Very easy to grow and somewhat invasive as everywhere I plant them little ones emerge the next year.

  2. wow! lucky you. do you have to stake them or are they low growers? beautiful.

  3. They do tend to drift to the side, but I have not staked them. They are small flowers about 2.5 inches across so not as striking until you get close.

Glad to hear from you once again. I really like these visits. Come sit on this log and tell me what you are thinking.
