These lovely white fairies are now blooming in one of my flower beds. Their fragrance is the breath of a tropical night on a distant island, quite exotic for mid-October!
They are a type of gladiolus--perhaps Gladiolus callianthus murieliae?...Very easy to grow and somewhat invasive as everywhere I plant them little ones emerge the next year.
Tabor what are these. Can I order some? They are beautiful.

wow! lucky you. do you have to stake them or are they low growers? beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey do tend to drift to the side, but I have not staked them. They are small flowers about 2.5 inches across so not as striking until you get close.
