Once a long, long, very long time ago in a land far (well not so
very far) away I had a house with a backyard deck draped in clematis.
I had a little homemade pond filled with gold and orange and white koi carp
that were given unusual names.
I even had a rose garden that filled my house with lush bouquets.
Sigh...that seems a long time ago.
That looks beautiful your garden...so peaceful...no wonder you miss it.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a 'green thumb' you I believe you can make anything grow anywhere :)

Well I'm impressed. That is one beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at the photos I miss never having seen it in real life.
Picture perfect. Your new place will soon be a showplace.
ReplyDeleteI could get lost in a place like that...and not want to find my way home. It's a beautiful garden, and the homemade pond full of koi completes it.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a hard place to leave, Tabor - even when a new dream waited at the end of the journey.
ReplyDeleteClematis like yours make me remember Henry Mitchell's chapters about being driven mad by the beauty of the late Spring garden!
