Party of the Giants

There is something very magical with overtones of the miracle of life when watching the late afternoon sun bounce off the water and bathe the trunks of trees in a golden firelight. No painter or photographer can truly capture this beauty. It is as if these giants dressed in golden glow are heading out for a party of monstrous elegance to which mortals such as I can only imagine.

  2. love the image - great job! i have so much frustration when the camera can't/won't capture the magnificent view i am seeing...not because hubby or i can't seem to DO IT correctly, but because i can't share the stunning view later with others or see it again later myself. sometimes it just doesn't work - some images cannot be captured in their true glory. those are the times we take pictures with our minds.

  3. I agree, although your photo does a very credible job.

  4. What a beautiful photo! Sometimes those shots are more than we had hoped for once uploaded from the camera. :) And your sunset photos in a previous post are GLORIOUS! Hmmm, speedwell, I will have to see if I can find me some of that. :) I'm mostly a lazy gardener, and love adding a new perennial to my 'weed' beds. :)
